We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity within the Rehabilitation Unit of Pride Veterinary Centre's Small Animal Hospital. We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team of dedicated professionals.
At Pride Veterinary Centre, we take immense pride in our work and its positive impact on our patients. Our rehabilitation unit is a vibrant environment offering both physiotherapy and hydrotherapy services. We cater to patients referred from various disciplines, including Orthopaedics, Neurology, Pain Clinic, Medicine, as well as our first opinion clinicians. In addition to supporting outpatients, our Physiotherapists collaborate closely with other disciplines, attend to inpatients, and provide physiotherapy discharges for surgical patients as needed. We are also in the midst of expanding our inpatient rehabilitation services to include new land-based therapy areas and electrotherapy equipment.
Join Our Dedicated Team
Our team of over 100 veterinary professionals delivers specialist-led care across all disciplines, working together to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. The rehabilitation team is small, close-knit, and includes three physiotherapists and a dedicated hydrotherapist. As part of a referral centre, the team collaborates closely with our Neurology and Surgery teams, offering a comprehensive rehabilitation service.

Our facilities include a brand-new underwater treadmill, dry treadmill, Class 4 laser, and hydrotherapy pool. We also have a spacious consultation room for land-based physiotherapy and access to an indoor arena when needed.
Enjoy a Flexible Work Pattern
This is a part-time position, consisting of 34 hours per week, with the shift pattern to be discussed during the interview.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a physiotherapist that possesses a degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy, along with strong communication and time management skills. You should be capable of working effectively both within a team environment and independently. Experience in hydrotherapy and laser therapy is essential, though training on our specific equipment will be provided. Additionally, registration with NAVP, IRVAP, or RAMP is required.
Having a qualification in hydrotherapy and/or experience working in a referral hospital would be advantageous. Experience mentoring students and an interest in delivering CPD would also be highly valued.
