My client is looking for a Welding Lecturer to work at an establishment around the Glastonbury area. This is a Part-time Temporary Position to start ASAP on an ongoing basis and it will be teaching the Level 2 & 3 Apprentices for 2 full days per week on a Tuesday & Thursday.
You will be expected to work the following:
• Tuesday- 9am-4pm
• Thursday- 9am-4pm
To be considered YOU MUST have:
• Recent experience working as a Welding Lecturer within an educational setting
• A Relevant Teaching Qualification
• Experience of teaching the Level 2 & 3 classes
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS
• Be available to start ASAP

• Experience in the subject area, and of planning and assessment of pupil learning
• A knowledge of current issues and developments in curriculum
• Experience of curriculum development
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
• Ability to effectively manage the learning and teaching of individual pupils, groups and classes
• Ability to prioritise the work of the subject department
• Proven organisational skills
• Ability to use appropriate interpersonal skills when relating to staff, pupils and parents.
