Lambert Brothers are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their team at their site in Andover. This role includes shunting between local warehouses, making sure bays are cleared and production continues. The driver will be loading and unloading using a pump truck. £14.72 ph basic 40 hours per week 13:00 - 23:00 If travel is outside of Andover, £7.50 per day fuel allowance. Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects following the Companies current procedure to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use. Comply with all company and customer procedures and immediately report to the Traffic Office any delays or issues to maintain a world class local service. Comply with all regulations stipulated within the Highway Code, FORS, EU tachograph requirements, Working Time Regulations and the Road Transport Regulations to ensure both yourself and the Company are compliant. Immediately inform your local Traffic Office if you are involved in an accident or incident so the relevant procedures can be followed. Carry out the highest level of care whilst securing, loading and unloading vehicles to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others. Operate high standards of general housekeeping in order to maintain a clean and tidy workplace at all times. Work in a safe manner and comply with all Health and Safety Regulations and customer Health and Safety requirements to ensure yourself, the customer and the Company remain safe. Your knowledge and experience: Class 2 Driving License DQC (Driver CPC Card) Working knowledge of the Highway Code, EU tachograph requirements, Working Time Regulations, Road Transport Regulations Experience with multidrop pallet deliveries Flexibility
