Vacancy Description
As part of our CMP team, you will be supporting and assisting the project engineers in the delivery of a portfolio of small/medium sized capital projects which includes the following activities:
* Managing and delivering a portfolio of mechanical, electrical, civil, control and instrumentation projects with a value of up to £5 million per annum.
* Working closely with Thames Water operations and our contractor supply chain to scope, specify and cost quality solutions that are both fit for purpose and value for money.
* Actively promote our zero compromise attitudes to health and safety, always striving for continuous improvement.
* Comply with Health and Safety requirements, ensuring that all projects built and designed comply with the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM).
* Work collaboratively with delivery partners/contractors to ensure that schemes deliver on time, minimising the risk to the business.
* Drafting, vetting and approving RAMS, pre-construction information, project plans, construction phase H&S plans (CPP) and commissioning plans.
* Overseeing the commissioning and handover of the project to the operational client.
* Ensuring appropriate training has been completed and that completion documents are available and handed over including test certificate and constructed drawings.
