Here at Principal Resourcing, we have a wonderful opportunity for a caring and patient Pastoral Support Worker to join the staff team at one of our thriving Secondary Schools based in Bradford, BD8. The full-time role is available with immediate start and will provide ongoing pastoral support for KS3/4 pupils, promoting positive well-being and instilling effective behaviour management strategies. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, the position may become permanent for the right applicant.
The inclusive Secondary School is part of the STAR Academies Trust, catering for pupils aged 11-18 years within supportive surroundings. They aim to promote a culture of educational excellence, from within a caring and secure Islamic environment that is enriched with the core values of discipline, mutual care and respect. You will become part of a supportive pastoral team, supporting pupils to engage in the curriculum and build confidence in their abilities.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, depending on experience.
We are seeking a Pastoral Support Worker with:
1. A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in pastoral care or a similar role.
3. Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting KS3/4 pupil progression.
4. Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
5. An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
6. Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
