If so, we would love to hear from you About the Role: Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Teaching Assistant (TA) / SEND Support Worker / Youth Worker to join a specialist SEND provision in Southend. The school supports students with a range of needs, including: Autism (ASD) Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD) Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) What You’ll Be Doing: ✔️ Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups to enhance learning and development ✔️ Helping students build confidence and independence in a nurturing environment ✔️ Using creative and engaging techniques to support students’ unique learning needs ✔️ Assisting with behavior management using positive strategies ✔️ Working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students What We’re Looking For: A caring, patient, and positive individual Passion for working with SEND students and helping them thrive Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff No prior school experience needed We welcome candidates with social care, youth work, personal SEND experience, or those looking to start a career in education Full-time, long-term position (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) Competitive salary training & career progression opportunities If you’re ready to take on a fulfilling and meaningful role, APPLY NOW ✨ All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
