Our specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) provision is seeking a dedicated Psychology Graduate to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young people in a supportive environment where you can put your knowledge of psychological principles into practice.
Role Details:
* Position: Psychology Graduate
* Setting: Specialist SEMH Provision
* Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
* Pay: £12.90 - £13.75 per hour
* Location: Blackburn
As a member of their team, you'll be supporting students with a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs, using your understanding of behaviour and psychology to help them succeed. You’ll work closely with the teaching staff to implement strategies that promote emotional well-being and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students with SEMH needs in both 1:1 and group settings
* Implement behaviour management strategies in line with educational goals
* Collaborate with staff to create tailored plans for individual students
* Monitor progress and help provide feedback to students, teachers, and parents
Requirements:
* A degree in Psychology or a related field
* A strong understanding of youth behaviour and SEMH principles
* Passion for supporting young people with special educational needs
* Great communication skills and the ability to work within a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
