Role Description The purpose of this role will be to provide assistance to the processing side of the FNZ UK Region Finance function focusing principally on bank processing and associated reporting, assisting with sales and purchase invoices, and supporting the work of the team in delivering month and year end closes. This role will report directly to the Financial Accountant and will require strong prioritising ability, combined with good communication skills and a commitment to high quality work. There is scope for internal progression from this role. Specific Role Responsibilities Specific responsibilities associated with the role include but are not limited to the following: Bank processing Completing high volumes of bank transfers between corporate and client accounts. Preparing supplier payments. Completing bank reconciliations. Monitoring and actioning requests for funding sent by the business Data Processing. Filing assistance. Month End Processing Assisting with some reconciliations work (both balance sheet and P&L) Assisting with the preparation of month-end and year-end journals AR Processing Preparing sales invoices and posting them to the finance system Sending out invoices to customers and communicating with them as required AP Processing Capturing supplier invoices and adding to finance system. Sending out remittances to suppliers when required. Processing staff expense claims. In addition to the above, there will also be a requirement to contribute to the work of the finance team by taking responsibility for ad hoc tasks as assigned by senior team members.
