Employment opportunities available from Monday 3 March 2025. Production Operatives play a key role in supporting our customers in the manufacturing of our extensive nutraceutical product range.
The primary purpose of a Production Operative is to contribute to an effective manufacturing process through the correct operation of plant, systems, and processes to ensure we meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). In this role your day-to-day duties will include a variety of tasks, including operating machinery, assembling products, and hygiene responsibilities to ensure that your working area meets the highest standards of food hygiene protocols to minimise risk to product contamination and maximise quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate Machinery: Use product manufacturing equipment to produce Tablets, Capsules, Powder Blends, Gummies, and Softgels.
* Assemble Products: Put together parts to create finished goods within our packaging lines.
* Conduct Quality Checks: Perform basic testing and quality control to ensure products meet standards.
* Maintain Equipment: Keep machinery and tools in good working order.
* Store and Move Goods: Use lifting equipment and manual handling techniques to move raw materials and finished products.
* Clean and Organise: Keep work areas and machinery clean and tidy, maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene protocols.
* Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
* Complete Paperwork: Record production data and other information.
This role best suits upbeat and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working systematically and productively. Day-to-day duties can involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching, and lifting. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body.
To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.

* Tier 1 – £12.70ph (Probation Phase)
* Tier 2 – £12.95ph (Probation Phase Passed)
* Tier 3 – £13.20ph (Fully Trained and Skilled Operator)
Skills/Experience/Qualifications
We are looking for pro-active and enthusiastic team players to join our forward-thinking and dynamic team. Previous experience working with the nutraceutical industry or other regulated environments is desirable but not essential as significant training will be provided. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body.
Due to the nature of the working environment, training requirements & documentation controls, a functional understanding of verbal & written English is essential.
