Job Summary Required to successfully recruit and enrol apprentices at the set target. Attract talent by building and advertising apprenticeship vacancies on behalf of customers using our recruitment platforms. You will have the responsibility of securing commitment from both candidates and employers during the hiring process. You are expected to outline expectations from all parties (the employer, candidate, and Skillnet) from the start by providing expert knowledge. Relationship building is a key element to the role of a enrolment officer, therefore you will need to be confident speaking with employers regularly via telephone, teams and/or face to face where required. Working with a regional field team and Business development Managers, this team is focused on delivering an excellent recruitment/Enrolment service to existing and prospective employers and Candidates. Responsibilities Make outbound calls using data provided with the aim of generating employer vacancies, employed starts and qualified appointments for appropriate staff to attend. Respond to inbound enquiries in a timely manner to secure new vacancies with both new and existing business Advertise all Vacancies on the Apprenticeship Service, indeed etc ensuring that descriptions are written in relevant language to attract and encourage suitable applicants to apply. Use various assessment tools to help young people identify their interests, skills, aptitudes and capabilities Use a thorough telephone screening process for both learners and employers, to assess suitability for live vacancies as well as eligibility for apprenticeship funding Assist applicants with their application and developing interview skills. Agree recruitment criteria with employer to ensure most appropriate candidates are put forward for interview. Manage relationships with employers to secure trust and ongoing business to generate vacancies each year. Ensure that candidates and employers have full knowledge of the process, expectation and potential outcomes and are fully equipped with relevant information. Request feedback on every unsuccessful interview from the employer to inform and improve candidate application / performance. Provide a responsive service to employers, supporting no show interviews and late notice vacancy requirements. Use thorough product knowledge to inform employers of the benefits of apprenticeships and apprentice recruitment to their business. Adopt a tenacious but professional approach, representing Skillnet as the first contact with the employer. Always promote equality and diversity Attention to detail and keeping vacancy data up to date to reflect true workload and forecasted starts. Work as part of the team to make a positive contribution to business improvement. Escalate and handle challenging conversations with employers to ensure their needs are met and expectations are in place. Liaise with relevant internal departments to provide solutions to client needs. To carry out any other duties and responsibilities within his/her capabilities as reasonably directed by their manager. Provide Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to learners and employers when using Skillnets recruitment and training services.
