An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Reablement Service within the Cheshire West and Chester Council.
The service is based at the portal in Ellesmere Port, the team however we deliver care and support throughout the borough in people’s homes.
What you’ll be doing
Being a Reablement Worker means supporting people in their own homes for a short space of time to assist them to reach their full potential. This may include managing a variety of aspects of daily living skills, setting clear and achievable goals to help people rebuild their former independence and confidence to sustain independent living at home and in their communities.
We are looking to recruit to Northwich, Winsford, Frodsham and rural areas.

Your Responsibilities
Being a Reablement support worker means supporting people in their own homes for a short space of time to assist them to reach their full potential. This may include:
* Managing a variety of aspects of daily living skills including personal and intimate care supporting service users to become independent in their home.
* Setting clear and achievable goals to help people rebuild their former independence.
* Building confidence to sustain independent living at home and in their communities.
* Supporting meal preparations.
Ideally, you’ll be able to drive and have access to a car. Previous experience in a care setting is not essential as full training is provided throughout your career.
