Job Title: Finance Assistant
Location: Dover
Salary: 28,000 - 35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 (Some hybrid working available)
Are you ready to take on a challenging role within a dynamic team? We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our client based in Dover.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparing management accounts to track and analyse the financial performance.
* Manage the sales ledger, handling invoicing, and ensuring timely and accurate recording of sales transactions.
* Oversee the purchase ledger, including posting supplier invoices and ensuring that payments are processed accurately and on time.
* Contribute to stock reporting, providing critical data and insights to support inventory management and decision-making.
* Support the finance team in the month-end close process, including reconciliations and preparing financial reports.
Requirements:
* Part-qualified accountant with a relevant financial qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) and a commitment to further professional development.
* Proven experience in preparing management accounts and managing sales and purchase ledgers.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
