Role: Supply Chain Lead – Building Security Job Ref: QAD 2001/2510 Pay Rate: Competitive Market Rate Hours per week: 37 hours per week Contract Length: Until March 2025 Location: Manchester – hybrid working This role can by worked on a hybrid basis from Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Blackpool or Cardiff. We are seeking a Supply Chain Lead for the Team that delivers essential services such as security guarding, maintenance, property and leasehold, construction, cleaning, and facilities management. You will work closely with the departments Security Suppliers, FM provider, Integrator partner, and the estates field team to provide expertise in providing a safe and secure environment across the estate. Key accountabilities
* Support the National Security Lead in the Security Control Centre (SCC) to develop requirements for physical security across the organisation’s Estate.
* Assist on the development of SCC process mapping, workflows, and reporting lines, alongside Stakeholders and the SCC Supplier
* Assist on monitoring the SCC Contract delivery, working closely with the Supply Chain Management team (Security and FM) and the departments integrator.
* Create lasting relationships with supply chain partners to ensure the required service is delivered by the SCC Supplier
* Support Estates security managers, Physical Risk & Security Team, supply chain management team, and Estates field managers to ensure all SCC functions are delivered to the required standard and within the required timescales.
* Manage the relationship for Service Delivery with commercial teams regarding any SCC contract changes and/or required improvements.
Key requirements
* Contract Management Experience: Proven experience in managing service contracts, with a focus on optimising performance and compliance, ideally within security, facilities management, or related industries.
* Supplier Management Expertise: Strong background in managing supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, negotiation, and driving improvements to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Service Delivery Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in service delivery management, particularly related to security control centres or facilities management services. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices is essential.
* Experience in Security Operations: Understanding of physical security requirements, including the development and implementation of security protocols, process mapping, and risk management within large estates or organisations.
* Contract Mobilisation Skills: Experience with the mobilisation and transition of contracts, ensuring a smooth handover and the establishment of service levels that meet organisational requirements.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to work closely with internal teams and external partners, including estates security managers, physical risk teams, integrator partners, and suppliers to achieve security objectives.
* Change Management Proficiency: Capable of managing and implementing changes to contracts, including service improvements and adaptations to meet evolving organisational needs.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with different stakeholders and build collaborative relationships across the supply chain.
