Salary: £27,966 - £30,036 FTE

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. The successful candidate will support teaching and learning activities, working closely with teachers to raise the attainment and progress of students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support for Students: Provide tailored support to students, addressing individual needs and promoting inclusion in all aspects of school life.
2. Support for Teachers: Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, manage classroom resources, and provide feedback on student progress.
3. Support for the Curriculum: Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum plans and learning activities.
4. Support for the School: Uphold school policies and procedures, participate in staff meetings and training, and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will:
1. Hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
2. Possess an NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
3. Have a good understanding of a range of learning barriers, including special educational needs.
4. Demonstrate experience in contributing to and assessing provision for children with diverse needs.
5. Be aware of social issues affecting students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
6. Have at least two years of school-based experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
