About Our Client
Our client is a notable player in the Not For Profit sector based in Hulme, Greater Manchester.
Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Interim HR Officer will include, but may not be limited to;
* Provide HR support and guidance to managers and staff members.
* Support with new starter processes including issuing offer letters, contracts of employment, and other documentation.
* Liaise with the Head of Human Resources to ensure appropriate and relevant training modules are completed.
* Support with the administration of vetting checks.
* Produce monthly staffing reports, providing HR statistics and data to the Board of Governors.
* Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
* Coordinate staff training and development initiatives.
* Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
* Monitor and review HR metrics, such as staff turnover and absence rates.
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and industry regulations.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR services and processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim HR Officer should have:
* A degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
* Previous experience of working in an HR generalist role.
* Practical experience in a similar HR role.
* Knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A high level of discretion and confidentiality.
* CIPD Level 3 or above, or in progress.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
* Proficiency in using HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* ER/Case work and educational background desirable.
* Enhanced DBS Clearance.
* Ability to commute to Hulme.
