We are searching for a committed, dynamic and reliable midwife to join our team, working in our antenatal clinic sites in Darlington and Bishop Auckland. Main duties of the job You will work within the antenatal clinics at our sites in Darlington and Bishop Auckland. You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team of professionals supporting consultant clinics and undertaking midwifery led tasks within the departments. You will provide a high standard of clinical care to birthing people and be responsible for the assessment, evaluation and implementation of high risk care pathways. Some of your daily duties will be: Ensure the smooth coordination of the antenatal clinic department Provide specialist expertise to patients in the antenatal period delivering high quality, evidence based care Provide support to the medical team and other members of the multi-disciplinary team within the antenatal clinic setting Planning, delivering and evaluating standards of evidence-based midwifery care Identifying and caring for women with more complex pregnancies Effectively communicate information regarding clinical decisions, policy and care pathways to patients/carers and the multi-professional team.
