Team Leader - Community Drug and Alcohol Service
Location: Thurrock, Essex
Salary: £27,992 - £32,578 per annum
We are looking for a Community Drug and Alcohol Team Leader. This is an exciting new opportunity to join our team in Thurrock.

What you will be doing:
1. Working within a community-based treatment setting to provide support to drug and alcohol users aged 18 and over (dependent on service).
2. Deliver client-centred treatment using both harm reduction and abstinence-based approaches.
3. Manage the following roles and responsibilities:
1. Develop supportive relationships with supervisees and colleagues.
2. Support the service manager in developing relations with key stakeholders.
3. Conduct risk, initial, and comprehensive assessments to guide direct reports.
4. Ensure group work and psychosocial interventions are compliant with audit and CQC standards.
5. Meet required KPIs by corresponding deadlines.
6. Manage poor performance and team dynamics appropriately.
7. Deputise for the Service Manager in their absence.
8. Abide by Forward's policies and procedures.
9. Highlight any health, safety, and security risks to the Service Manager.
10. Ensure practitioners use the Case management system correctly.
11. Agree on working protocols with multi-disciplinary agencies.
What we are looking for:
1. Experience in comprehensive assessments and designing SMART care plans.
2. Experience delivering structured interventions to service users.
3. Knowledge of psychosocial interventions and their benefits.
4. Experience using motivational interviewing techniques.
5. Strong IT skills for case management.
