Job Title: Utility Consultant
Location: London based (Hybrid/Remote working available)
As the Utility Consultant you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive utility solutions to our clients, ranging from initial feasibility studies to final connections and metering. This position requires a deep understanding of the utilities sector and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage utility connection projects, focusing on electricity, gas, and water services
* Provide expert consultancy to clients on utility infrastructure requirements and solutions
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and utility companies
* Oversee project teams, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards and regulations
* Conduct technical due diligence and feasibility studies for utility connections
* Contribute to business development activities and proposal writing
* Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in the utility sector.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in the utilities sector, with a focus on connections and infrastructure projects
* In-depth knowledge of UK utility regulations and standards
* Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in relevant software tools and CAD applications
