This is a key post within the Council’s Asset Team, the team is directly responsible for the delivery of the Council’s Estates Management, Building Compliance, and management of the Corporate Landlord function. Supporting a diverse range of front-line services and back-office functions including Children’s Services, Adult Services, Highways, and Corporate Buildings.
The role of Programme Assistant is varied, and the right candidate must possess strong attention to detail to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks.
You will assist the Corporate Landlord Manager with the smooth operation and management of the Corporate Landlord function within the Property department. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and using financial information derived from the Property Database (Concerto) and the County Council’s corporate financial system (e5) to ensure that expenditure and income is accurate and allocated correctly; it is essential that candidates have the experience and technical ability of using and understanding ICT systems.
We are looking for someone who will be flexible in their approach, with the ability to plan and prioritise their own workload, working independently or as part of the team. Ideally, they should be tactful, diplomatic, and assertive when dealing with challenging situations.
