Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier in Scotland.
The successful candidate will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for mechanical engineering equipment such as pumps, valves, pipework, and other related products/systems.
Ideally, the candidate will have experience selling or managing key accounts of mechanical engineering products such as hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, compressors, valves, and pipework.

Role Responsibilities
1. Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts for mechanical engineering equipment.
2. Maintain pump product and system sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
3. Responsible for pre-sales technical assistance and providing end solution/application support for all customer needs/requirements.
4. Provide after-sales support services and technical backup to customers across various industries such as energy from waste, chemical, water, pharmaceutical, and steel.
5. Work remotely/field-based covering North Scotland with regular visits to customer sites.
6. Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements
1. Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar within a mechanical engineering environment.
2. Experience selling or managing key accounts for mechanical engineering related equipment is highly desirable.
3. Full clean driving license.
4. Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the North of Scotland.
