Our client is a highly successful Main/Principal Contractor within the Commercial, Industrial, Health and Educational Sectors. This includes all aspects of New Build, Refurbishment, Civil Engineering and Fit Out projects.
They are now looking for a Project Manager to oversee every aspect of construction projects across the North East.
Responsibilities
1. Overseeing operational duties from inception to completion.
2. Promoting a positive health, safety, and environmental impact culture.
3. Ensuring on-site safety through risk management and risk assessment.
4. Managing the construction process and supervising all activity on-site.
5. Enforcing safety procedures.
6. Planning and delivery of projects.
7. Organising logistics and delegation of work.
8. Ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in line with contractual obligations.
Qualifications
To qualify, you will ideally possess a Degree/HND/BTEC in Civil Engineering, SMSTS, and demonstrable experience in delivering Commercial, Industrial, Health, and Educational projects. You will have good knowledge of construction and legal guidelines, with strong organisation and programming skills. You will possess excellent problem-solving skills, have financial and commercial awareness, and be able to negotiate and influence. Additionally, you should be able to build and maintain strong relationships, ensure regular communication with key contacts, and report progress on projects.
