Village Vet has a rare and interesting opportunity for a veterinarian with at 5 years' experience to work at our Royston practice on the border of Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. This practice is long-established and has a loyal and friendly client base at the heart of the community. The practice is opposite the train station and only a 14-minute commute from the centre of Cambridge. Working with an excellent nurse and client care team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day veterinary work and contribute towards the performance of the practice. You will be the primary vet at Royston, working there at least 2 days a week, with the remaining shifts at Whittlesford. A routine regular ops day at Whittlesford will be strongly encouraged. A weekend working rota can be discussed if wanted and we can accommodate a 4 or 5 day week depending on preference. You will work closely alongside the Whittlesford and Milton teams, with case input and support with surgery, work ups and emergencies as you need. You will have opportunity to shape the future of the Royston site, with input and direction from our senior leadership team. You will be line managed, coached and mentored by our clinical director and you in turn will line manage and lead the Royston team. You will receive full training and bespoke personal professional development as needed.
