My customer has worked with one of the UK's largest automotive manufacturers over the last 10 years, providing a full engine air path diagnostic calibration to all of the OEM's diesel and diesel hybrid vehicle programs, meeting EU and EPA regulations. We have, in recent years, expanded our client base working with other prestigious OEM's covering gasoline projects and full OBD systems.
The development of in-house programmes allows them to provide services ranging from software design meeting current standards to post-processing data in order to assess calibration change impact or to identify events of interest from hours of logged data.
They specialise in systems engineering, system integration, diagnostics, control systems, data processing, and testing, providing a range of services from advice through to fully-managed turn-key projects.
Position Overview
This position is for a calibration engineer with a focus on OBD testing. It could be suitable for a graduate with an interest in this topic area or someone with an established career. Due to the nature of the position, the ideal candidate will need to be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
2. 1 year of experience in diagnostic systems calibration development is preferred.
3. Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a Master of Science in Computer Science.
4. Experience in Hardware In the Loop development/verification and database management.
