Software Asset Manager – Salary Circa £45,000.

A bit about the job:
The purpose of this interesting role is to drive and deliver our Software Application Roadmap for around 300 software contracts to provide the governance and oversight to set future strategy. This role will directly influence Aviva’s simplification and cost-saving initiatives. It will require a highly motivated individual who is confident communicating clearly with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
Individuals must be able to lead a complex workload, be very proactive with high motivation to deliver quality outcomes and presentations in a timely manner. This role comes with the freedom to develop a brand-new service and will be pivotal to the team’s function in the future.
In addition, there will be a requirement to have a high-level oversight of other functions within the team and provide analyst support where required. Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office. This role is based in Norwich, Bristol, or York.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Highly self-motivated with the ability to lead and manage own workload and adapt to change.
2. Very strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex problems. Detailed data analysis to drive simplification and cost reduction.
3. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with confidence to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. Production of executive papers and PowerPoint presentations.
4. Ability to suggest and lead continuous service improvements. Multi-disciplined to support across all team functions.
5. Financial, Commercial & Risk awareness. Some previous software and business analyst experience would be an advantage.

Salary Circa £45,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary; actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
