We are currently recruiting for Quality & Automation Test Engineers with a strong holistic testing and programming background, who love to be hands-on and get enjoyment out of solving complex problems. If you like to challenge the status quo and think differently, we would really like you to be a part of our exciting new team. We are flexible with location, however traveling to our London office at least once per fortnight will be required.
A bit about the role
As a Quality & Automation Test Engineer, you will collaborate with Software & Data Engineers, Product Owners, SME’s and the rest of the team to deliver excellent and timely customer outcomes through continuous development, automation testing, and delivery. You will implement improvements to automation testing standards and practices to increase the quality and efficiency of delivery. You will provide technical oversight and undertake design and code reviews to ensure systems meet functional and non-functional requirements.
We are driving a culture of whole team accountability for quality and continuous testing and are looking for people who can help us do that.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
* Experience with TDD, hybrid testing frameworks (Object model & Data-driven) and third-party system integrations (APIs & middleware)
* Experience in the creation of mocks
* Well-versed in modern development practices including Agile and continuous deployments, DevOps and either AWS, Azure or Google cloud
* Experience in Exploratory and Holistic Testing including shift left / shift right approaches
* Experience in Risk-based testing (RBT)

* Starting salary circa £80,000 depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
