An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Extra Care Manager to work in an exceptional care facility based in the Hampstead, London area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This is a unique, modern extra care service with extra care apartments allowing people to rent over the age of 55. Suitable for those who require some care or support in order to maintain their independence.
You must have an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care and previous experience as an extra care or supported living service manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilise authentic leadership, role modelling and inspirational skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent quality of care.
2. Be the person in charge responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service with 24 hour responsibility for the care of the Service Users.
3. Manage the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy.
4. Provide improvement, independence and choice for Service Users.
5. Comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times and in particular the CQC.
6. Promote the Equality and Diversity of Service Users living and staff working in the environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Previous experience as an extra care or supported living service manager.
2. A strong knowledge of person-centred care.
3. Experience of working closely with service users, assessing their needs and delivering care that helps each person to live a fuller life.
4. Provide the very best levels of care, ensuring that all procedures are carried out to the highest of standards and optimising the wellbeing of every resident.
The successful Extra Care Manager will receive an excellent salary up to GBP52,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role for 37.5 hours a week working through day shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
