The team you will be joining, Group Finance Transformation & Systems Reporting to the Head of Group Finance Transformation & Systems and working within a team of 6 you’ll play an integral role in the formation of our transformation plan and lead on the delivery of finance transformation projects, working to streamline processes, implement new technologies, and drive operational efficiencies across the finance function. This role will focus on optimizing the end-to-end finance processes, implementing best practices, and enhancing the team’s ability to provide strategic insights to the business. To support the transformation you’ll have oversight of the Group Finance’s finance systems and work closely with vendors to optimise the capabilities of the systems. Working closely with the Finance Management Team, you’ll identify key areas within Group Finance that require transformation, including processes and systems, focusing particularly on leveraging best practice technology. Act as Delivery lead for implementation of Group Finance transformation initiatives, specifically in the deployment and integration of Group Finance systems, including ERP systems, financial planning tools, and reporting platforms. Collaborate with the CIO function and Group Finance stakeholders to identify and implement new technologies that support the finance transformation strategy. Develop and execute a systems development plan to optimise current Group Finance systems, aligning to the transformation strategy and roadmap. Manage and maintain all financial systems, including ERP, accounting software, and other finance-related tools. Oversee regular system updates, upgrades, and maintenance activities, co-ordinating with Group Finance to leverage new features and capabilities identified. Represent the Society in system user group and technology industry forums. What Do We Need From You? Attained degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) Experience with ERP systems across financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, Treasury Management (e.g., Workday, Quantum, QRM) and finance technology solutions is highly preferred. 5&43; years of experience in finance, latterly with a focus on transformation, process improvement, or financial systems implementation. Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles. Strong organisational skills, with experience in change management and stakeholder engagement.
