Job Description What is the role? Overall responsibility for shaping the strategic direction of the Council’s culture, tourism and events provision and driving transformational change by promoting a positive organisational culture of empowerment, innovation, and change. Develop and deliver strategic plans that lead and manage a range of high-quality services ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency. The specific areas of responsibility will be determined by the Council’s priorities and may change from time to time. Currently, in addition to the principal accountabilities outlined below, this post will have overall responsibility for: Culture, Tourism & Events Salary and Benefits The Grade of this post is Grade 5 / Level 16; the hourly rate is from £38.06 to £39.24 and the annual salary is from £69,459 to £71,613.
