Description Role Purpose: Reporting to our People & Culture Business Partner, our People & Culture Advisor will provide high level employee relations (ER) advisory support across all departments within the EMEA business, including our Distribution Centre (DC) in Coventry and our head office in London. What You’ll Do: First point of contact supporting managers with any ER related issues (including but not limited to; wellbeing meetings, performance reviews, flexible working requests, investigations, and any potential disciplinary hearings / grievances). Support managers to effectively manage the probationary process for all new starters end-to-end. Lead on all family leave processes (i.e., adoption, maternity, paternity and shared parental leave) including ensuring risk assessments are completed in partnership with the H&S Manager / line manager and advising on leave and pay entitlements. Work with manager to arrange KIT days and ensure those employees on family leave are kept updated with relevant company information where applicable. Lead weekly ER case updates with People & Culture Business Partners, and prepare monthly ER reporting with stats and metrics. Stay up to date with UK employment law legislation; regularly review, update and maintain our internal policies, providing quarterly updates to the People & Culture Business Partners. Deliver Funko manager induction training and ad-hoc manager refresher training on Funko policies and tool-kits across the EMEA business. Conduct exit interviews and provide quarterly reports including stats and metrics to the Business Partner team. Mental Health First Aid Network sponsor – lead regular reviews with all Mental Health First Aiders across the business. Provide ad-hoc support with EU (including but not limited to France, Italy, Germany, Spain, and Poland) ER cases. Champion all people initiatives and ensure that the People & Culture’s function as an advisory partner to the wider business is endorsed and enhanced. Support the wider People & Culture team with continuous improvement and projects. In partnership with the Director, Talent – International, ad-hoc support with implementing engagement activities may be required. What You’ll Bring: Excellent HR / P&C generalist experience at Advisor level, preferably in fast-paced environments such as FMCG, retail, tech or creative. Credible competence in employee relations, performance management, policy and procedures and employee communications. Excellent knowledge of employment law and the ability to apply it practically and commercially to workplace situations. Ability to build and develop trust and confidence, strong communicator (verbal and written) with outstanding interpersonal skills to effectively/appropriately challenge. High resilience and confident working independently with sound judgement and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; values winning as a team rather than self-recognition. Takes initiative, adopts a flexible and proactive approach and has the drive and passion to make a difference. Positive and proactive ethos; a value adding and solution orientated self-starter with high integrity. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and protect employee privacy. Excellent organizational, planning and administrative skills with the ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
