Ecolab is looking for a SHE Manager for the Regional Supply Chain SHE Team. The SHE team work with a broad range of functions across the organization including Logistics, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, & RD&E. Whilst the primary focus is on our manufacturing operations in Europe, we also work very closely with our Market and Divisional SHE Colleagues in the region, and with our Global Supply Chain SHE colleagues in other regions. For this position, you can be based in any country across Europe ; with reasonable access to an Ecolab site or Office. Reporting directly into the European Supply Chain SHE Director. Travel is an essential part of the role, and it is expected to fill about 30% of the time. The work is varied and will require someone who can effectively manage competing priorities. Operational experience within the chemical industry would be an advantage. Main responsibilities will be: To develop and support the implementation of Global and Regional SC SHE & Sustainability KPI’s, initiatives and best practices in line with the relevant SHE strategy, and together with the EU SC SHE Team, drive SHE & Sustainability performance to world class. Provide technical SHE advice, support, and training to all EU SC sites and locations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and Ecolab Policies and Standards. Identify SHE risks within our SC and implement and track actions to mitigate those risks to an acceptable level. Key Responsibilities: Develop, communicate, and implement appropriate regional SHE policies, standards, guidance, work practices and best practices. Support the Global SHE team in the development and implementation of global policies, standards, guidance, and best practices. Advise and support our EU sites to ensure company compliance is achieved for all sites through the development, communication, and implementation of the above. Advise and support on matters related to compliance with EU/Country SHE Legislation Engage with Regional and Global Process Safety teams to ensure alignment/consistency of approach, and the development of joint policies, standards, guidance and best practices touching on both disciplines. Support and train the EU SC SHE network in the implementation of the TPM SHE Pillar and the associated Global and Regional SHE goals and initiatives to minimise SHE losses Provide technical SHE support and training to the regional SHE network & other stakeholders Lead or participate in relevant SHE workshops and committees across Europe, and in the Global organization as required. Lead, or provide expert support for, SHE and HPNM incident investigations and analysis, leading to the identification of root causes and development and communication of subsequent actions Provide Expert SHE support to other SC functions as required, for example in the investigation of Quality related customer incidents Analyses, visualization, and communication of safety performance for presentation to Senior Global and Regional leadership in focused meetings, OGSM’s, and external publications. Lead and support audits for the EU audit programs (including ECAP/IMS/Intervention and Pre-acquisition Audits); also support to Global SHE audit teams as is agreed and appropriate Provide SHE support to, or lead, crisis & issues management teams as is appropriate. Qualifications & Skills: Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety & Environment. Working knowledge or Qualification in Sustainability. Working Knowledge of ISO 45001 / 14001. Technically skilled in using Process Safety tools and concepts. Expertise in Workplace Risk Assessment. Can demonstrate fact based, structured decision-making process to initiate and support actions. Strong oral and written communication skills. Skilled in relevant IT Software and Digital Technologies. Able to facilitate cross functional teams to a common path forward. Effective management of competing priorities.
