I am currently looking for a Configuration Manager to work in contract with a major client and am very keen to talk with you.
Location: Hybrid- Remote/Wiltshire (2-3 days/week)
Duration: initially running until the end of March 2025 (extensions are expected)
IR35: Inside
Rate: £negotiable
Role Overview:
The Configuration Manager is accountable for day to day implementation and management of the configuration management process focusing on:
1. Use of standard methods and procedures for management and maintenance of the configuration process
2. Ensuring that all changes to Configuration Items are recorded as part of the change process
3. Ensuring all configuration items are identified, documented, maintained and controlled through their lifecycle
4. Initiate and implement process improvement from insight from process performance measures and end user feedback through the Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) process
5. Review/Reports performance of configuration management reporting on performance against SLAs and KPIs and insights from trend analysis
Experience:
* Strong presentation skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment
* Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Quickly adaptable to changing processes and requirements
* Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Ability to interact with colleagues at all organizational levels
* Experience with and thorough understanding of key factors that drive business value and impact
* 5+ years of related experience; administering and delivering Configuration Management
* ITIL certification
* Agile/SAFe experience
* Strong customer facing skills with an ability to interact in confidence with clients
