What skills and experience we're looking for
The Role As a Site Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our school is a welcoming and safe place to learn and work. Your duties will include:
• Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and minor DIY tasks
• Supporting the Site Manager with site security, including opening and locking up the premises
• Ensuring health and safety regulations are met
• Carrying out routine inspections of the school buildings and grounds
• Assisting with cleaning, moving furniture, and setting up rooms for school events
• Reporting any maintenance issues promptly to the Site Manager
What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will:
• Be reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Have a good level of practical maintenance and DIY skills
• Take pride in keeping the school environment safe and well-presented
• Be flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
• Have a strong sense of responsibility and good attention to detail
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. A willingness to undertake relevant training is required.
