Job Summary
Temporary until 18th August 2025.
You will be responsible for the delivery of effective teaching services to children and young people attending St Winning's Primary School.
Teaching in Denominational Schools: In accordance with Section 21 (2A) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980, the successful candidate for this post will require the approval of the Roman Catholic Church. Applicants are advised that it is their responsibility to obtain such approval at the earliest opportunity. PVG (Children): This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to confirmation of employment. Successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant PVG check (£59 or £18), which will be deducted in instalments from your wages following commencement of employment.
