Due to an internal promotion, we are now have an opportunity for an experienced regional Account Manager to join our amazing Retail Sales Team.
The key responsibilities are:
· Reporting directly to the Channel Manager you will manage multiple brands within a chosen group of regional retailers and commercial resellers.
· Develop a strong sales strategy closely aligned to our brand partners to ensure we meet and exceed their growth targets and future ambitions.
· Acquire a thorough understanding of your customer needs and requirements and assess the businesses capabilities in supporting them both now and in the future.
· Develop and build strong relationships with your retail accounts to deliver exceptional brand experiences and customer service.
· Drive incremental sales by identifying and proactively opening new retailers / resellers. Use expertise and tenacity to generate new leads, and enhance the businesses proposition.
· Have full ownership and accountability for the accuracy of your forecast, liaising internally with the Sales Operation Manager and Brand Managers to ensure sufficient stock is available and aligned with planned marketing activities.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven track record managing and growing a defined territory
• Proven ability to generate mutually profitable sales with a view on both long and short term business goals
• Entrepreneurial character with strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong presenting skills to attract new potential customers as well as the personality to build on our valued, existing relationships
• Self-motivated and professional with a hands-on personality
• An understanding of the independent retail or commercial cleaning sectors in the UK would be advantageous as would be experience of representing premium brands

Location:
UK wide. This is a Home based role with regular travel within your territory and some nights away. Minimum requirement is 1 day per week in our Cambridge office.
