We are seeking to appoint an Administrative Officer for Inclusion, SEND, Pastoral and Safeguarding to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Deputy Headteacher for Safeguarding, Behaviour, Attitudes and Personal Development & Designated Safeguarding Lead, Senior SENCO, Assistant SENCOs, and the SEND team.
The role of Administrative Officer for Inclusion, SEND, Pastoral and Safeguarding is to guide and support pupils’ wellbeing and academic achievement at St Michael’s Church of England High School, ensuring students achieve to the best of their ability and are able to flourish and live life to the fullest.
This is a non-teaching role and the successful candidate will work within our SEND department. The main responsibilities are:
1. Provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Deputy Headteacher for Safeguarding, Behaviour, Attitudes and Personal Development & Designated Safeguarding Lead, Senior SENCO, Assistant SENCOs, and the SEND team.
2. Write and distribute letters for statutory meetings, collate, copy and distribute relevant paperwork.
3. Attend and take minutes of meetings and annual reviews, providing typed, proofread minutes.

Please note that the Administrative Officer for Inclusion, SEND, Pastoral and Safeguarding works 37 hours per week (term-time only + 5 training days) and the actual salary paid for this post will therefore be at Band D x 0.7770, being the pro-rata amount for hours/weeks worked.
