Opened in 1939 it still occupies the original historic building as well as additional areas dedicated to specific subjects e.g. music, D&T. To support us along this journey we are now recruiting a first line Media and IT Technician, we are looking for a problem-solving ethos and a desire to learn. The successful candidate will be expected to: Provide first line support including: Troubleshooting and resolving IT issues for staff & students. Hardware/software/printer issues – PCs, iMacs, iPads, laptops. Work reported issues/requests via tickets in a Helpdesk system. Supporting student & staff iPads via Endpoint/Intune Support & maintain classroom technologies, e.g. projectors, PCs, interactive screens Occasional installation of software on specific PCs. Support school events by setting up A/V equipment, microphones, projectors etc. Ensure the Teaching & Learning needs of the school are met. Build relationships with staff and understand their requirements. Work unsupervised when the Team Leader is away. Occasionally there is a requirement to work after 4.30pm to support events e.g. parents’ evening. This extra time worked is returned as time off in lieu.
