You will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of an engineering team in manufacturing.
About the Role:
1. Team and project leadership: manage team workloads, prioritise tasks, and ensure timely project delivery, including people management responsibilities.
2. Drive continuous improvement: implement lean principles, and develop business cases for process and technology upgrades.
3. Take manufacturing ownership: oversee safe and efficient manufacturing processes, including equipment management, CAD interpretation, and stakeholder collaboration.
About You:
1. MUST have formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 AND formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent or BEng in a relevant subject.
2. Experience and working knowledge of the manufacture of RF assemblies, die placement, ATV / Epoxy die attach, wire / ribbon bonding, plasma cleaning, gap welding, optical inspection.
3. Previous experience in people leadership and holding effective team discussions.

2. Salary: Circa £45,000 Depending on Experience
3. Location: Bolton – Dynamic Working: 4-5 Days per Week On-Site (Flexible Hours)
