We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our client's team in North Shields. This role is suited to individuals with a strong background in transactional finance who are looking for flexible working hours and the opportunity to develop their career.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing invoices and managing accounts payable/receivable.
Reconciling bank statements and managing general ledger entries.
Supporting month-end and year-end financial processes.
Assisting with payroll and other administrative duties as needed.
Providing support to the finance team and contributing to ongoing process improvements. About You:
You have previous experience in a similar role and strong knowledge of transactional finance.
You are highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in using accounting software and Excel.
You are a team player with strong communication skills.
