Account Manager – Direct Mail

Hours:
8am – 5pm or 9am – 6pm but a level of flexibility would be required.
The Role:
• Expected high standard of regular client surveys
• Timely invoicing to meet monthly financial targets
• Regular progress checks demonstrating accurate planning
• Work with an agreed portfolio of clients
• Share your expert knowledge of the Company’s functions and capabilities with your client
• Understand that your clients have individual requirements – be flexible and creative to find the right solution for them
• Build strong relationships with your clients
• Accurately process orders and book work into production with an agreed deadline
• Manage your workflows through production and regularly communicate progress with your client
• As a member of the overall Client Services Team, gain an understanding and appreciation of all roles within the department and the Production Team to provide an outstanding service to all clients
• Drive the on-going development of Lean Principles throughout your department
• To comply with the Company’s Information Security Management System at all times
• To comply with all Health and Safety and Quality and Environmental Management System policies and procedures adopted by the Company at all times
• To pro-actively participate in the development, operation and improvement of the Company’s Management Systems in relation to our external accreditations and legal obligations, for example, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and Health and Safety
• To be well presented for work and conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner at all times
• To fulfill the Company’s requirements with regard to the Company’s Management Information Systems at all times
• To follow all administrative procedures adopted by the Company at all times
Requirements:
• Good level of educational achievements
• Superior written and spoken communication skills
• Experience of working in the print industry
• Knowledge of DM
• 2 years + experience of account development
• Experience of working on a booking system, e.g. Tharston’s
• Ability to communicate effectively – verbally and in writing
• Good personal time management, planning and organisational skills required to manage competing demands and priorities
• IT literate including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to view problems objectively and find solutions
• Enthusiastic personality

• A positive approach to team working
• Ethical and honest
• Willingness to travel to meet business needs
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Current UK driving licence
