A part-time vacancy has arisen for a Clinical Support Worker to join our dynamic multidisciplinary Gynaecology Outpatient's Team at the Friarage Hospital with cross-cover at the James Cook University Hospital as required. The department provides clinical consultations, diagnosis and treatment. Service runs 5 days a week 08:30 - 18:00. The Gynaecology Outpatient Departments at the Friarage Hospital and the James Cook University Hospital are very busy units providing care for patients experiencing a wide range of gynaecological conditions, including; Colposcopy, Hysteroscopy, Urodynamics, Urogynaecology and Gynaecological Oncology. Main duties of the job Applicants must be able to demonstrate a genuine desire to work in this specialty and must be committed to delivering high-quality compassionate care to women and their families. Responsibilities would include setting up general and specialist clinics and equipment, chaperoning patients, undertaking baseline observations, venepuncture, assisting with procedures and processing specimens.
