Nursery: Bright Horizons Tonbridge Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary: £24,865 - £25,372 per annum (dependent on qualification(s) and experience)
Location: Tonbridge, Kent
We are looking for a full-time passionate Nursery Assistant to join our Bright Horizons Tonbridge Day Nursery and Preschool. This nursery offers a newly renovated building and garden, a separate baby garden and sleep room, a revamped toddler room with community play resources, and a long-serving staffing team.

What you’ll be doing
* Working as part of a nursery team caring for babies and children up to the age of 5.
* Engaging in daily adventures with children through interactive play, activities, reading, and supporting their curiosity through our learning curriculum.
* Communicating daily with parents about their child's activities.
* Providing a caring and supportive environment where children feel safe and looked after.
* Supporting colleagues to encourage children's development towards key milestones.
* Promoting and ensuring child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding.
What we’re looking for
* Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential—examples include Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, or Childminder.
* A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
* Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
* Effective communication skills with both children and adults.
* Sound understanding of child protection, safeguarding, and child welfare protocols.
