Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities The successful applicant will require proven strengths in strategic thinking and/or finance to support the operational working of the Neurosciences unit at University Hospitals Southampton. They will be an essential part of the Care Group Management team and would predominantly work within the team to write business cases promoting safe and effective services whilst considering financial implications and future service developments. The role will entail much more than solely writing business cases, there will be opportunities to work alongside the transformation team and project manage developments and updates. Although finance knowledge will be beneficial, the applicants need to be of a curious disposition, this will ensure that during projects and cases they are able to review services and consider other efficiencies and different support required to maintain and improve. Working pattern can be discussed with individuals, however there is a minimum expectation that the postholder will be required to be on site during some core working hours in the week to enable them to know and understand the services they are supporting.
