Jayar Components Ltd was established in 1976, and are the leading independent supplier of quality car parts, workshop consumables and garage tools & equipment in the South East of England. We are currently looking for an experienced and highly organised PA/EA to work alongside the Managing Director. This position will be part office based at our Head Office in Aylesford, Kent and part remote/field. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in various software applications and have a strong ability to multitask. Main duties will include - ● Manage the director’s calendar, schedule appointments and coordinate meetings. ● Attend meetings, take minutes and action and points raised. ● Handle phone calls, emails and respond promptly and professionally. ● Assist with travel arrangements and booking accommodation. ● Organise and maintain files and documents. ● Drive director to meetings. ● Conduct research and gather information as needed. Skills Required - • Proven work experience as a PA or EA in a fast paced and demanding environment is essential. • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed. • Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to respond effectively to multiple priorities. • Handling sensitive and confidential information with appropriate discretion and regard for the physical security of associated paperwork and electronic files. This is a full-time role Monday – Friday but you must be prepared to work flexible hours – no two days will be the same. Public transport links are not available in the area, therefore own transport is essential. Free onsite parking is available.
