Embedded Power Electronics Engineer, Converter and Inverter
We are seeking a Converter and Inverter Embedded Power Electronics Engineer to join our existing Electronic Engineering team. The role involves working from requirements capture through to the design and development of low-cost, high-reliability electronic and electric systems.
You will have strong general electronic design and embedded firmware development experience, ideally from the perspective of Power Electronics, working through prototypes with test equipment and rework.
Skills Required
1. 3 phase inverter and DC to DC converter design
2. Microcontroller and analogue electronic design
3. PCB layout design for batteries, electric machines, and wiring for manufacture
4. Full electronics product life cycle design: requirement, prototype, test, rework, and support
5. Verification and validation testing and simulation
6. Schematic and assembly drawing using CAD tools
7. EMC for power electronics
8. BEng in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
9. Hands-on commercial experience in a similar Electronics development role
Role Responsibilities
1. Design and build electronic components and circuits
2. Design, analyze, and verify electronics systems throughout the engineering lifecycle
3. Collaborate with Systems and Software engineers and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues
4. Support manufacturing quality tests and production as needed
