Your new company
Based in Ayrshire, our client is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5pm and Friday 8.30am-4pm. The organisation can be accessed by local public transport and there is on-site parking.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director and working as part of a team of 4, the Accounts Assistant will undertake a range of responsibilities. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
1. Payroll processing (weekly and monthly)
2. Processing invoices
3. Purchase ledger
4. Sales ledger
5. Handling queries
6. General associated finance administration
What you'll need to succeed
Successful experience of payroll processing and wider finance administration duties is essential. It is preferred but not essential that you have experience of Sage, but training can be provided. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders via telephone and email on a daily basis. You will be a team player who can work well from your own initiative as you will manage a varied workload.
