Process Systems Engineer

Your Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and implementing controls.
* Lead electrical project work from concept to installation.
* Resolve technical breakdowns independently and support shift engineers.
* Maintain and version-control software backups for PLCs, SCADA, HMI systems, and motor drives.
* Develop and deliver one-point lessons to share knowledge and improve processes.
* Manage backups for key systems and ensure seamless server operations.
* Collaborate with production personnel to swiftly resolve machine faults.
* Keep detailed engineering logs, including PM/job work orders and asset documentation.
* Communicate professionally with external and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
* Apprenticeship-trained engineer with proven expertise.
* At least 5 years' industrial PLC experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficient in Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, and familiar with Allen Bradley or Omron systems.
* Hands-on experience with SCADA and HMI development (e.g., WinCC, Wonderware Intouch).
* Familiarity with packaging systems, conveyors, and automated processing equipment.
* Knowledge of network communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus TCP/RS485).
* Proficiency in high-voltage systems and motor control systems.
* Experience with electrical CAD software (PCSchematic or Eplan).
* Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills, with a willingness to train and mentor others.
