Job Duties:
* Provide tailored English and Maths intervention sessions to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and progress
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students in achieving academic goals
* Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
* Collaborate with SENCO and other staff members to ensure effective support for SEN students
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
Education:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
* At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to Key Stage 3 students
* Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Effective classroom management techniques
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours, with flexibility in scheduling sessions
* Work in a classroom or learners' home with SEN students
* Collaborative work with school staff and SENCO
