Team : 25+ Veterinary Surgeons and 35+ RVNS
Role Summary: They are looking for an experienced equine veterinary surgeon to join their team of five equine and large animal veterinary surgeons. The group has 26 veterinary surgeons and a new intake of graduate vets each year who join the equine and small animal teams.
Duties: As an equine veterinary surgeon, you will routinely cover the treatment of horses and donkeys.

Hours : Full-time, with a start time of 08.15 am
24. The day starts at 08.30 and finishes at 17.30, with an hour for lunch.
25. One night a week on call (emergencies only): 17.30 08.30 the next day.
26. Two weekends in six, with two days back as days off: 08.30 Sat 08.30 Monday.
27. A nurse takes the emergency phone calls and will contact the vet if necessary.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
28. MRCVS qualification
29. RCVS registration
30. Up-to-date CPD record
31. You must have a strong work ethic and provide a high standard of clinical service.
32. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and team members.
33. Being a team player is highly important for the role along with good organisational skills.
34. Full UK driving licence.
35. You will enjoy working within a busy practice with a wide variety of cases.
36. Emergency out-of-hours work may include an occasional small holding animal (i.e. goat/alpaca).
