As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a team to provide high-quality care to children and young people. You will contribute to their emotional, physical, and social development while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of support workers to deliver excellent care.
Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child’s needs.
Promote a safe, caring, and nurturing environment.
Support children with daily routines, education, and social activities.
Maintain accurate records and reports in line with company policies.
Liaise with families, professionals, and external agencies as needed.
Assist in staff training and development.
Requirements:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards completion).
Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
