As an Upsell Business Development Representative, you’ll play a pivotal role in our future growth plan and long-term success. At CloudPay, we believe in promoting from within, meaning that a successful BDR can have the opportunity to progress within our organisation for a well-established career.
Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
· Collaborating with your assigned ADMs to establish a strategy of success for their account list.
· Support driving engagement within 130-150 existing accounts.
· Identifying potential prospects and generating new business opportunities for CloudPay.
· Tracking, analysing, and creating reports based on account activity such as license utilisation, product and product feature usage rates, and customer effort score.
· Working with the Customer Support Manager and the rest of the CS team to mitigate churn risks and improve upsell or cross-sell chances.
· Understanding customers, their organisation structure and identifying key decision makers.
· Monitoring accounts and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
· Multi-Threading with accounts and building out account information.
· To set up initial appointments for the ADMs and follow up on leads.
· Creating new, upsell and cross sell opportunities within said accounts.
· Track progress towards meeting your goals.
· Use our CRM and outreach platform to manage leads and sales activities effectively.
· Engage with marketing on events and campaigns to drive successful outcomes.
· Provide weekly updates to you BDR Team Leader about your progress and results.
· Be a vocal advocate and contribute fully to team, sales and marketing meetings.
· Be the data champion for your virtual team, updating and cleansing CRM data daily.
· Embrace all tools and skills to deliver the required message to our prospect and customers.
Attributes and Experience Required:
· Strong level of experience and knowledge in SDR / BDR / sales or customer service
· Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
· Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
· Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
· Time management and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
